Having been critical of the Wildcard system in the recent past I would like say that we bought a new Wildcard about 6 weeks before our mid August departure for KNP and the Wilcard arrived about 2 weeks before we left. It was great to have the physical card to take with us. Then today the Wild magazine arrived in my post box!
Hope this better service continues as it is really appreciated.

I am sure the service will continue - I purchased my card at Skukuza - updated my details a week later when I returned home and received my card within 2 weeks. No problems at all.

I've also been very critical of the 'improved' WC, have never been sure that I'd been able to update my details properly since I kept getting error messages indicating that I'd failed

But hey, I must have been doing something right because over the weekend, I received the Spring issue of WILD — a first!

Here's hoping that this is a harbinger of better things to come (like a smooth renewal process next time ). Holding thumbs .......

After an 11 month wait, I have just taken delivery of our Wildcard

It has been an 11 month wait, but now we have received this it has been placed in the suitcase along with our other travel documents ready for next month's trip.

The expiry date is correct, as are the names and address, and it has arrived just in time for our latest Kruger trip in January. We haven't received the magazine, but I suspect this is not sent to International Wildcard holders?

Anyway, all that matters is that we have the card at last. Now we can sit back and look forward to the festive season and beyond.
