OK.....I just got the video clips of the lion on the walk and the leopard last night, now to convert it to a format I can work with and the edit and then post....so it will be up today still.

I love this leopard - and that dove is not even enough for a starter. Hope she will succeed to catch a decent meal SOON.

I just loved the stretch and the yawn.

On the walk we heard the lion roaring, but far away, we decided to continue the walk and maybe look for the lion later on. As we reached the spot where we take a brake we could hear the lion much closer, I informed the guests the lion could be at Samevloeiing waterhole and if they would like to see if we could find it.
Obviously the people said yes...

We started walking and soon found out that the lion was on top of a dune close to Samevloeiing, so we decided to go up the dune and look. Once on top of the dune there was no lion , But then we heard him far away...and then saw him on the other side of teh Nossob river trying to avoid us.

Once he saw us on the dune he turned and started heading our way a good 400m, I could see in his way of walking he was not just coming over to say HI but rather get rid of what was in his territory, I said to the guests we should move towards the vehicle which was at that stage 70m from us, we started walking and once we reached the vehicle and all guests were in the lion was right next to us (about 10m). It walked to the dune where we stood and started looking for us, or whatever was standing there that he saw. He also started marking off his territory on the exact spot....

And that was my Friday morning
