I have spent at least 30 minutes on hold to central reservations this morning trying to get booked for next year. Each time aftter 10 minutes the system has kicked me out, given an engaged tone and then gone dead! I'm calling from the UK so this is costing a lot of money!!

I don't mind being on hold, if I get through and get to do what I need. But this was so frustrating and costly and in the end pointless!

Come on SANParks, this isn't really acceptable!

Hi Gemma T,

I can understand your frustration.........even more so because you're call from the UK.

Try one of the Satellite offices. They answer quick and are very helpful

Today will also have a huge volume of calls, at I would imagine at all booking offices, with it being the first working day of the month and booking for Aug 2013 opening.

Did try the other satellite offices too, but no joy!

Thankfully got sorted as a friend based in Jburg made the booking for us, as he was also on hold!!!

So all booked and ready for next August!!! Yay!!

The JHB satellite office staff were very friendly even though I am pretty sure they must have been exhausted by the time I eventually got through. AND: I could make changes and I got what I wanted!
