My dream tent would be an Oz tent ... they are heavy I believe and big when packed.

We did a really fun trip to KNP in a R299 Game tent ... a tiny dome one.

I have 2 rather spacious nylon tents. One bought on a special. Can't resest that red marked down sign.

As much as I have enjoyed the space, they are not too comfy in the wind. Were it not that I often travel alone and need something I can pitch with little help, I would keep a sturdier canvas tent in mind.
The bird doesn't sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song.

@DB: The Oz tents are very easy to put up.( only 30 sec) 8)

@MM: Think I'll be looking for a canvas tent.

Generally I agree with you but I've survived a few bad thunderstorms (with wind) in 'cheap' CampMaster nylon tents. Even in my pop-up.
