According to the latest rumours the Panasonic DMC-FZ200, which replaces the FZ150 will get a 25-600mm zoomlens.
Not only is that a perfect zoomrange, good for landscapes and far away birds, it seems that it will be f/2.8 over the whole zoomrange!

Rumour, but if true..... I might buy one!

Sounds great.

Just to update you on my f48.. I have found the pictures excellent including starry night shots with 60 sec exposure and low ISO. Been practising taking pictures of animals in London ie photographing scavenging foxes!

I will, it still has to be released though. DPreview will probably have the firsthand experience and tests with it.

Hi all

Can anyone comment on the Nikon Coolpix L810? Bought one last week for R2900 and thusfar I am very happy.

16.1 megapixels and 26x optical zoom.

It is not as good as the P510 but then it is also half the price. Can anyone comment?

It is confirmed, f/2.8 all the way. Now to see what the quality is like....

And the price ... but it does look impressive! Thanks for the link, DQ!
