I have a couple of pairs nesting in the hedge/trees on my property. They are truly lovely birds. Was quite surprised to see them initially. They seem to disappear in winter, although they are not migratory, but are back during the spring which is about the time they breed. If you look up Roberts you'll find quite a lots of information.

I am in hurligham and we get as many as 15 rameron's at a time in the garden. They seem to like eating small acorns ?, or foraging around them.

Neil.

Can we hand you a spoon to stir with, Scips?

Not to worry Pops, I'll freeze him like a pie if he aims at our pigeons.
