Dear Forum Members

This forum is dedicated to the process of determining a forum logo.

We invite all forum members to submit a drawing of a design to the following email address: forumlogo@gmail.com Please included your forum name when you send the email.

Or, PM your design to any of the Dyna'mite team: Cheetah2111, Heksie, Lion Queen, PetraJ, picnic.

If you feel that you are not able to put 'on paper' a vision you have for a design, please start a new topic in this forum and describe your idea and we will ask one of the more arty ones to draw this.

Its is up to each member if they wish their name be put to their design - please indicate this when you submit it.

Please ensure you read this topic; and please take note that the SANParks Kudu Kop cannot be used. Please also keep in mind the logo will need to be embroidered and therefore the design should have simple lines and not too many colours.

Please note the following:

1) Designs are please to be submitted from 1 May onwards.

2) Designs will be put up anonymously on forum once they are received.

3) Each design will have its own topic and positive comments to enhance the design will be invited. The intention is to assist the designer in a positive way to produce a mutually pleasing design. This is not a time for nasty comments, or harsh criticism; nor intended to be intimidating.

4) Forum members may submit as many designs as they wish, and also may 'improve' on their designs during the 'discussion phase'.

5) The cut off date for designs to be submitted is 15 June 2012.

5) Five days for discussion after cut off date will be allowed.

6) Ten designs will be selected to sent on to SANParks for them to choose their favourite five.

7) A poll will be held on the forums for all mites to choose their Forum Logo!

Comments close on 20 June 2012.
Is there a deadline for SANParks to respond?

Dear forumites

Thank you SO much for your amazing support and interest in this whole process. We can totally appreciate that you are excited, we all are too, to see what our final forum logo is going to be.

This is a really important and momentous process for the forums.

The amount of design submissions has been greater than we could have ever hoped for, which is absolutely wonderful!!!!

We have some more designs that still need to go up for you guys to see and discuss, and we would like to give mites a few more days to submit designs to ensure every possible design gets submitted and considered.

Therefore:

5) The cut off date for designs to be submitted is 15 June 2012.

5a) Five days for discussion after cut off date will be allowed.

5) The cut off date for designs to be submitted has been extended by a week, to 22 June 2012.

5a) Eight days will now be allowed for discussion and to tweak designs, after the cut off date. This will take us to end of June.

Our next step is to get input from SANParks on all the designs that have come in, and we are sending them a first group already, just to make sure we are all on the same page.
