As I said Glen, they are really very well equipped...........much better than the standard units.
The ones we have stayed in have also had full ovens and 4 hotplates, unlike most standard units that only have 2 hotplates and no oven!!

Also your own braai and lovely shaded stoeps.

When are you going?

Unless I'm mistaken a BD2N unit is in A circle. Number 14 and 15 are closest to the fence :D
Keep an eye out for the African Wild Cat that patrols around the area :D
I hope you enjoy it thebush :D

The highest numbers are furthest from reception. So less people!
Number 179 is right at the end at the corner of the two fences

I like 167. It is in the middle where the two "half circles" meet. The braai is right next to the fence and the rest of the bungalows are sort of behind you instead of next to you.

We've recently stayed at Satara in the B circle in a BD3B unit  and really enjoyed the camp. Had 2 dinner guests: a honey badger and a grey cat. Could this we an African wild cat? Much too fast for a photo :cam: , sorry. But this cat was light grey, I thought they were brownish and slightly larger than a domestic feline.

I eagerly await the experts to comment...
I love the Kruger...

Sure there can be slight colour variations especially if seen at night in poor light.

Yes, we've seen AWC everynight we stayed in Satara last March.

An AWC visits Satara cam so often that the cammers have named him/her. Perhaps the same cat?

As you can see, the cat is certainly grey in colour :D
Back from beautiful Botswana - a long time to wait, but KNP and KTP planned for 2016!

On a night drive we saw an AWC right outside the gate, and another across the road within a couple of minutes. A third was seen about 50m further down the road. I think Satara is an AWC hotspot. We have seen Honey Badger raiding Bins late nights too.
In search of creatures great and small, Kruger here we come!

Just returned from 5 nights at Satara. stayed in D circle . At about 4.30pm our first day an A W C crossed the circle , it was light grey in colour and was recognisable by its longish legs, unfortunately it happened so quickly I was not able to take a photo.

Yip, looks almost domesticated. 8)

I posted the same phodie elsewhere on the forum as well - that piece of string is not tied to the cat though
