Definitely my favourite when it comes to antelopes. A couple of pictures taken during our August trip to KNP.

Incidently , when we visited Mokala last year , I got the impression that the Kudu there seemed just a tiny shade darker in colour than the ones in Kruger . :hmz:
Has anyone noticed this at all , or :hmz: was it perhaps just my imagination :huh:

Have noticed it as well Okie :thumbs_up:
But not that obvious than the giraffes that's much more noticeable lighter in color than those found in Kruger on the other hand. :hmz:

A Kudu can jump over a fence of 2.5 meters high and can jump over 9 meters in length.

Stevenson Hamilton had to raise his garden fence to 3 meters as the Kudus ate the plants in his garden in the dry season.

The hair on the tail of the Kudu is used to make an artificial 'fly' which is used to catch tiger fish.

And then the cows with those big radar dish ears. Absolutely stunning antelope!
