Waiting for next one.

I only have two bird books, one for birds of Kruger Park, and another which is not the best.
So the more KTP birds, the worse my chances

I know the pain of not having the best bird book cheetah2111.... And the problem is one is always sure the newest book on the market must have new or better info, and then end up with a shelf full of bird books, none of which can be given up because the old book may have info that the new one don't


I'll post the new challenge on Monday... Must first find some photo's with identifiable birds on them !

I would have got 8/10 if I had been here, but I was in Bloem for the week!

Looking forward to the next one....and I have plenty of unidentifiable/ blurred/ 1 pixel photos if you need some!

Being one of those people who failed miserably with the Bird ID Challenge, it was lovely to come across this easier version!!

I missed the vote this time, but got them all right!!

I will be waiting for the next one.

Good morning Ducklings!

Only three 'mites participated in this challenge... And it was easy! 2 scored 10/10 and 1 mite 9/10. The only fold was on number 5, Burchell's starling, which the one mite thought may be Meve's starling. Meve's and Burchells are the only two "glossy" starlings with dark eyes... and then one look at the length of the tail in comparison with the body length... the tail is a good bit longer in Meve's than in Burchell's...





Busy day today... will post new challenge early next week

I am still new to the forum and figuring things out as I go along. When do you post the duckling challenges? I really enjoy all these ID challenges and don`t want to miss any.

I'm also still figuring things out ... I'll try to post the challenge Mondays or Tuesdays, and then allow until the following Friday... 10 days, including one weekend for the 'mites that can't do the challenge from work ... before posting the answers.
