Watched a Goliath the other afternoon, using a peice of wood as bait, picked it up and tossed it into the water, when fishes came to investigate bang!! he helped self. Have heard of and seen the smaller herons do this, but the Goliath a first for me!

Very close Graham. One can drive up to about 3m from the water edge. Hopefully more mites will add pics.

Kruger just does it for me :thumbs_up: . What is captured in the photo’s that we can see here is perhaps the reason why :D. Nice photo's :clap:
