Okay, fess up! Whom else amongst us adults has actually bought one of the Kruger 'Passports' and unashamedly fronted reception staff, gate staff etc to get their stamps? And how much childish fun is it?
On my second last trip I bought mine and last year No1 son's girlfriend bought hers and we collected lots of stamps...
What other KNP memorabilia do you also have?

Bought it 3 years ago for my son, but after a while I was the one collecting the stamps. I just need 2 stamps for it to be complete...

Have anyone done the Kruger Passport thing?
I often looked at the passports on sale in the Park shops, but always hestitant to buy one and get going with it as a Kruger collection souvenir.

With our next trip in Dec'12 covering the southern, central and northern camps, the opportunity lends itself to start this fun way in collecting the stamps from the different camps and gates we will be visiting.

Could anyone that have done this share their experiences and perhaps have answers to the following questions:
- Cost of such a passport in the parkshops?
- Can you get them somewhere in Cape Town?
- As this will be our 4th trip, wonder if they will also backdate the stamdate to reflect the previous times we visited the camps?

Where do they sell them?

BB, they have them at most of the Stores in the park, though we didn't see one until almost the end of our first visit. I have taken it back each visit to add to my camp stamps. They are fun for us kids!!

Have you seen the Kruger Passports they sell in the Park Shops?
Just wondered if anyone has actualy completed the passport by getting it stamped at all the gates and camps?

I always look at these passports and think, its a nice idea to have proof that you where at the different camps, but always wonder if they do have the stamps available.

I think I am going to get one and try to get all the stamps, it will be completed in more that one trips though.

I am getting there! Have a few gates to collect and a couple of the southern camps and bushveld camps.

Do you get an ID book with the passport and voting rights on park issues?!

In our trip to Kruger in 2012, we bought passports for our four grandchildren. They religously presented them at all of the camps we visited and at our exit gate.

Since we bought them on our second day, they were quite disappointed that they were not able to get them stamped at Afsaal, so we have been instructed to get them stamped there when next we visit Kruger. You really need to sustain the inner child, Bush Baptist!
