Thanks for the help

R490 per adult. Childrens pricing is not included, that could be because they are not allowed.

I am having trouble finding information about which camps offer Bush Braai. I thought there was more detailed information with a list of camps on the website, but now cannot find anything more than http://www.sanparks.org/parks/kruger/tourism/activities/braais.php. Do I just wait and check at reception for each camp when we arrive? Or should I email each camp to find out particulars? It would help if there was more information available to help us plan our holiday. In our past visits, we haven't participated in one, but this time we would like to join in the fun. We will be staying at Letaba, Mopani, Shingwedzi and Punda in November.

Not all camps have bushbraais. In this pdf, from page 12, are all the activities per camp, including the braais.
You will need to keep in mind that (I think) there is a minimum of people attending, so put in a reservation for it beforehand.

Hi there, Letaba offer a super bush braai, followed by a shortened night drive. Bit scary going behind a tree to answer natures call in the dark ! But was a great experience. I booked when I arrived at Letaba.
Enjoy.

Hi all,

We will be in Kruger from the 22nd of July. We are staying in Letaba, Skukuza and Tamboti. Is it worth it to do a bush braai that time of year, being winter, and which camp will be best to do it from.

Thanks.

Hi

I have never done a Bush Braai but have done a breakfast. It was lovely we started with a morning drive and ended at the River. It was lovely, this was at Letaba. If you cant do a bush braai consider this one.

Thanks everyone for the additional information -

DuQues I am glad you had the link available, I was able to find out the of the 4 camps we will stay at, only Letaba and Mopani offer the bush braai. We will be participating in one at each.

Elsa - thanks for the link to the thread - more good info.

We decided to try a Bush Braai this time, since we have enjoyed bush walks and morning, evening and night drives in the past. We will sign up for walks at each of our stops this coming November, can't wait!

Can anyone please give me the email of Irwing to organize a bush braai at Lower Sabie? I called the camp and they gave me an email address, but it was returned to me as undelivered

Thanks Bert, I have emailed them although I was told to arrange with Irwing as the head guide. Maybe one of the above will forward my email to him. :D
