Is this the very sick lame lioness? I want to cry every time I see her - very sad that she has to suffer so. :cry:

This looks like the same one we have seen twice before :hmz:

Kgalagadi Guru(Jan Kriel) said that she has probably got Tuberculosis

....she looks skinnier than the last time we have seen her.... :cry:

This doesn't look very good...she looks very sick.

Can anybody figure what its lurking in the water trough for the last while? Too indistinct to figure it, and I think it must be too friendly to be hyena (which does this kind of thing often) - other animals are coming to drink quite comfortable.

Thanks for posting the pic- then I saw it climbed out: definitely eagles, I think a martial eagle?

Yes, I have the bird book out and have been trying in vain to narrow it down but it was a BIG bird of some kind. Got a reasonable look as it climbed out of the water and stood up next to trough BUT just not clear enough to tell

it stayed right in the water for some time.....
