The annual forum Cricket event comes to Twee Rivieren, Kgalagadi in 2013!

All forum members are invited to attend and support this wonderful event in the red sands and dunes.

The event will be hosted by SANParks, and arranged by SANParks Events department, E Biz and Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park, aided by forum members who will form the Planning Committee. The Virtual Honorary Ranger region will also be involved and will endeavour to raise funds for a project to be determined.

This is a time for mites from all over the globe to meet and greet and relax with each other and with the SANParks officials they see online, and those from KTP and surrounds. The emphasis on the event is to have FUN! (and play some cricket )

The activities will begin on the Thursday and run until the Saturday evening. Keep a close watch on this topic for all the exciting plans KTP have up their sleeve.

Bookings of accommodation:
Kgalagadi management are holding a block booking for forum members to ensure everyone is able to get accommodation. It is important that mites attending the event make their bookings early, within the next few weeks if possible. Presently 100% of the chalets at Twee Rivieren will be closed and 50% of the camping area, for the people of the forum.

We appreciate that the park is willing to assist in this regard and hold accommodation, but they cannot be expected to keep it closed for too long and will need to release excess to the public. It is therefore important that you make your booking very soon.

1. Put Cricket 2013 reservation in the subject heading of the email, and include your client code and full name and booking requirement in the email.

2. Only bookings for Twee Rivieren can be made this way, if you are going to visit the rest of the park, those bookings must be made through the normal reservation procedure.

3. If you wish to spend longer at Twee Rivieren than just the 3 nights of the Cricket weekend, include that in the booking via Jannie.

So, get planning, make those bookings asap, and lets all look forward to another fantastic and successful Cricket event!!

Hey guys, lets face it, Skuks was great for 6 years, but it is a great opportunity to go to KTP, and who of the Kruger Regulars have been to KTP, just put up your hands and say "aye".

AND, we need some guys to put some life into the Cricket, cause those "oldsters" from Cape Town, or as most know it, "Slaapstad" cannot hold a partay for jack.

We won't be making it 7, just don't have the days available to make the trip worthwhile. Maybe with more notice, or if it was moved to 2014.

I have long since been looking for an excuse to go to KTP again. However there are a lot of maybe's for me and will have to see if it will be possible to go!
