I just want to point out one small thing
CapeTown to Upington = 820 kms
johannesburg to Upington = 875 kms
( both have to drive from there to KTP)

not much difference for either group

Now
Cape Town to KNP 1890
Johannesburg to KNP 480

Come on give KTP a chance !!!

I Love both KTP and KNP...

To me (only IMHO) it is only about what I can afford and if I will be able to take leave...

Affordability: It will cost me 3x times more on fuel for KTP and I will have to at least 3 days extra leave as for the same time in Kruger... and as you know game viewing is very limited on a cricket weekend... So I would like to do at least some game viewing if I have come so far... So that means at least a weeks leave. At work the month of March is our busiest month thus leave is normally non excisting. I suffer to get 1 day for Kruger...

Flying is not an option for the tickets are very expensive... (We fly for work to Upington)

Thus KNP will get my vote.... Sorry KTP...

Scipio.....

Now you are giving me an idea with regards to the bouncers...ever seen the film "Bodyline" very famous Cricket match. I might be wrong but I think it was England vs West Indies many, many years ago.

The KTP bunch are not aggressive at all, come and see for yourself

Baffers,

All I can say is

I do not think we can ask SANParks to fund two events. Did say so earlier

This is the 2nd most important event on SANParks' calendar. And primarily, the SANParks events department runs it.

How about asking the Events Dept on their Official thoughts? :hmz:

Hi forumites,

We have become aware of people re-registering on the forums (which is against the forum rules) to just cast votes. Not good!

We are shutting down this poll.

SANParks will make a decision on this and communicate it via the VHRs.

To those of you who voted with integrity and made contribution to the discussion - thank you!
