The forum has structure and dignity, not like fb and its ilk where people have no discipline or regard or respect for others.

Anybody can just swear, but some think it is lekker funny to do so, and I for one am pleased that the forum has standards that translate into rules, even though occasionally I find myself on the wrong side of them......

On FB comments that do not follow normal interpersonal rules, or contain hate speech, cursing etc are also removed. (And reported if need be.)

I find on News 24 that the comments are very aggressive and usually refrain from reading now!

DuQues - facebook does have a limit of sorts, but cursing.....? I've never see any comments containing foul language removed and I've seen a lot! In fact I wish they would, then young people might actually develop a better vocabulary. But I digress

The bottom line twigga, if you announce that you don't want to be a part of the forum any more, do you really think that the mods will change the rules and that your presence will be missed? I can think of at least 10 prominent members that have departed and joined another forum. I haven't seen any petition by fellow forumites that ask them to return.

Like in sport, there are yellow cards and red cards. The rules are there and if you don't like it, play another game, but this game has got its rules and not you or me or anybody else will change it.

In the SANParks groups I remove the posts containing it, when I see it.
Disagreeing with something is fine, but .....

Don't you worry Rooies, I never doubted for 1 second that I will be missed, and it can't be ignored that there are prominent mite's that's missing in action.....

Why is that? for speaking their mind, raising a concern that I can guarantee 100% was not said to stir but because they feel too passionate about Kruger to keep quiet anymore........

Yes I agree on one thing this forum has structure, if you don't support Sanparks in every decision that is made or if you post anything that will dare to put Sanparks in a bad light then it's not part of that "STRUCTURE" swept away, and I will stand by this beliefs


So you know what if for this I get a red, yellow, pink or black card I don't care. I don't want to play this "game" anymore...

It's just a shame that you get send off the field for asking the wrong questions.......

Why don't we just create a rant and rave subject then everyone will be happy and share there piece of mind there.

The forum , like the poaching and hotel topics are filled with posts by mites not agreeing, and they are not swept
So please scan to forum before making such a statement.
If you want specified answers about salaries like the rangers for eg this will not happen on the forum. If you want a answer best would be to mail SANparks.

It is categorically not the question asked, it is the way the question is asked.

And of course it has to be answerable.

Asking Sanparks for an answer on salaries etc will be like to ask the Bulls to change their jerseys back to blue...

@ Saraf - IMHO - There is no right/wrong way to ask a question, at the end of the day you always get back to the answer......

Everything changed on my december visit,I had a lot of bad experiences and it was very shocking! I was the first one to preach that we must not let this forum get out of control and start negative topics, follow the right channels to complain but it's not so effective.

I often don't agree with SANP, but I am not rude or about it. I am usually allowed my say.

Some issues cause emotions to run high, but ranting does not get any positive results.

Exposing people because of what they have done, hopefully will cause embarassment and maybe action, but this is Africa. It still has to learn the meaning and concepts of strange words like integrity and accountability.....
