Maybe one needs a camera trap at the gate :hmz:

LOL- so I think I'm probably the only one who doesn't really want to see this particular leopard by the gate...

We saw the leopard (if its the same one) a little way outside the TR gate on a night drive in Sept 2011. Our guide Michelle (an Aussie lass) very bravely opened and shut the gate. We did scan the veld though with the spots while she was out of the vehicle. There were reports (unconfirmed) that a leopard had entered through the gate one day. It was seen 100m or so inside TR camp.

Nice to meet you and chat TonyT, at this weekend's wader bash in WCNP!

Nobody watches the gate, and it is out of sight of the buildings, so who knows what walks in......

The predator sightings are very good at the moment.

Regarding the rain we have had we had a few drops but last night we have had some good rain.

The Kalahari is very green indeed.
