Interesting bakkie shootout between the Hilux and the Ranger. Appears to be the first in a series of "shootouts", so might be worth keeping an eye out.

From TopCar

The Ranger is TWO POINT TWO meters WIDE??? How the hell do you fit that thing into a standard garage????

As for the scarcity of Pajero Sports second hand, I'm not overly surprised. They're not rubbish, so people won't part with them all that quickly given the costs involved, and since they sell something like 50 of them a year, there's not too many to start with (in contrast to the Fortuner, which sells upwards of 500 a MONTH)!

Scips, don't make me head for my archives for some real 4x4 action shots...although none of them would be in Kruger or any other SANPark...

Picnic - I'm merely speaking out of experience :) I'm long past feeling the need to convince people anymore

I could put some more, in Kruger, but then they might not allow me in anymore.

Picnic, probably talking about Isuzu, pity about their Gearboxes though. But then, pity about the namebadge. :D

Okie, got a Jeep now, but that Landy was best. Nothing ever stopped it.

Makes me think of that day with Boorgatspook.

Actually, Isuzu is about the one brand I don't have a photo of...can show you Jeeps, Fords (including a 1970's F250 monster), a Mazda, a Kia, a Landrover, Toyotas, a Nissan, and one that is something of a pavement special...

It doesn't count if you tow the Isuzu up a dune at Campsbay with a Tractor for a pose.
