Hello all

What. A. Day. I'm sure many of us were going to extraordinary lengths to keep up to date with the situation in KNP today - myself included. Truly unbelievable scenes. As heart-breaking as it is, the 2000 floods won't leave my mind, and I really hope the floods continue to subside. No human lives have been lost, for which we should be eternally grateful. However, we do not yet know the impact on the animals, but let's pray that damage is minimal.

And please, let the forecasters be wrong and let the rain subside.

Due to the bad weather and all the flooding going on we have had another quiet day at the cams. Orpen is still offline , I don’t think they have a time to fix the cam at the moment something I can understand because there are Bigger problems at the moment in the KNP region.

I hope everyone has a really good weekend lined up - even if it means doing nothing at all

I'll be studying for a german "test" I have soon, and I have to say I do feel a little old for exams Oh well, it's great to be learning a different language, even if it is the very basics. The cams have been quiet today, with one stunning sighting. KNP seems to be recovering from the battering it took, but there has been the very sad news that it has taken a life. We offer the man's family condolences in this tough time.

Another very quiet day today on the cams. Even Nossob could only offer some generic game, but I have a feeling there might be some more interesting sightings tonight. Satara was a bit sporadic and Orpen has been continuously offline. But after the recent weather, it's no surprise. But to brighten up the day, we have our weekly selection tonight.
