Did some Soutpansberg birding and managed 10 lifers
Pink-throated Twinspot, Blue-spotted Wood-Dove, Finfoot, White-backed Night-Heron, Broadbill & others
Also Orange-breasted Waxbill this morning at Marievale.
Baillon's Crake still showing although not a lifer
New total 544

Did you go to Marievale alone or as part of a group when you saw the crake?

I dipped on it earlier this week... maybe I should attempt it again?

Hi Johan.
I went on my own, actually to look for Orange-breasted Waxbills and the Spotted Crake that Niall saw yesterday, but the Baillon's was a nice extra.

I just went through my photo's I took in marievale last sunday and I discovered another lifer in the form of lesser swamp warbler! Takes me to 513.

Well done on your Lifers Eugene123! I dipped on the finfoot there with Samson...... Some great specials you picked up!

Picked up Red-footed Falcon today in Devon. Up to 625.

Laine up to 556 with Cuckoo Finch, Baillon's Crake and Red-footed Falcon.
