I'm 2 years over retirement age - and still working 'cos I not only love my job, but I believe intensely in the benefits coming from the project I'm involved in :D

If you happen to have a couple of hours to spare I would explain all - but I don't want to bore you

I was an officer in Logistics in the SA Police Service. :wall:

Currently jobless, that's why I have all the time to spend on the Forums.

Entertaining myself while searching the web for work opportunities.

Amazing how many nurses are members of the forum. I'm a " human" nurse, but the more I learn about people, the more I love animals!!

Well, I've just transitioned to lead Customer Care Operations for our tax division. It is a lateral move, but I'm out of IT and into the business.

Oh, and I'm married to a registered nurse. :)

Dotty, so true.

Stark, sounds like you're moving up big time, even though technically it may be lateral.

Vinkie, sounds like a fascinating vocation!  I'm sure you'd be a great piano player too with such supple, strong fingers and wrists. Now, teaching is one of the least appreciated degrees these days, which is sad because every great person in this world was forged from a dedicated teacher! I believe every teacher should be paid at least triple what they now earn!
