Thnx Tobieo. Just hang the biltong high please. I will miss you in KTP by 5 days, but will be in your hometown on 5 and 6 Dec.
Have a blast and bring back some awesome images.

Hi T

Thanks for having this series of photos on the forum - I really enjoy working through all of them as I do love birds especially taking photos of BIF (as you'll see from my trip report and here in the Birds section). I do learn a lot from you as I only have started with photography in December 2010 when I bought my 1st DSLR camera (Nikon D7000 with a 70 x 300mm).

Looking for more to come.

Could you please send that Marshy up here as there are far to many rodents in the factory.

Here is a change from the Abrahamskraal hide with an image of a fast flying Pied Avocet as shot on an overcast morning from the Geelbek hide in the West Coast National Park.

Toueareg - just a small request if possible? Can you please resize your photos not to exceed 640pixels in width. I, and I think many others have dial-up connection to the internet and very big photos make it really difficult.
... If you can't resize I'll understand!
Thanks
Bobbi Jane

Thanks for the great comments. I really appreciate that you tae time to leave a comment.

@Bobbi Jane...Welcome and I really keep the recent files small. Although they are 800 wide the overall file size is less than 250k. I have a limit on the file size of 300k and these are less than that. I hope it works better for you.

To continue. Also from the Abrahamskraal hide in the WNP there are at least 2 pairs of Black Shouldered Kites operating and really have no tolerance for the Harriers. This one dropped down from very high and at high speed but pulled up short from the ground.

Touareg, your pictures are outstanding and bring back wonderful memories of our stay at Abrahamskraal earlier this year.
