We have seen 4 HB outside of the camps while in Kruger. First time was in September of 2009. We watched and filmed a pair of Honey Badger digging a hole just off the Tropic of Capricorn loop for over half an hour. We saw a second HB a few days later on the S40 while driving to the Timbavati picnic area. Toricat made me reverse the car for about a km so she could watch him trotting in the opposite direction. Our last sighting was last year near Malelane Gate on the S114. We feel very fortunate to have seen so many Honey Badgers they are wonderful little characters.
