Well before I get to more Augrabies and Kgalagadi plants, I have a few more from KNP and the lowveld.

2. This tree was alongside the access path to the Lake Panic hide.

A good place to start would be the Albizia species or theMaerua species.

Thanks, Jeanus, I'll email you the larger pix. However, I did google the mimosa and it looks like it might be an alien invader, Albizia lebbeck :(

thanks for the e-mail it made identification easier. No. 2 is most likely the indigenous Albizia anthelmintica or worm-bark false thorn. Shrub or small tree - lots of flowers before it gets leaves which show as leaf buds on the branches.
