Here follows my last pictures. On our next Kruger holiday we will go further north and I will then make pictures of Shingwetzi , Punda maria and some bush camps up there. PRETORIUSKOP 113 &114

We have just returned from kruger where we stayed at Pretoriuskop and Roodewal. These photos are of one of the two Family cottages(FF6DB) that we stayed in.They have three bedrooms and two bathrooms and were very comfortable.Unfortunately I did not make a note of the cottages numbers but there are only four 6 bed units and they are all in a row.We also loved the swimming pool

Thanks so much for your photo's. That unit looks great at Pretoriuskop. I looked on the map but could not find the FF6DB. It must be newly build units. Can you remember where about in camp they were situated?

Marijke I see on the map we stayed in 113 & 114 - FU4D.Not sure why they are not FU (Family unit) 6D-they definitely both have 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms and 113 had a bigger living area than 114 andslightly smaller bedroom.

It's possible that they have changed/upgraded the units and there for also changed the numbers.?


Maybe someone else knows more about this?

Hello there pamelajane, your photos of Roodewal are amazing!!!! We have never been there, where is it exactly?

Its on the S39 (Timbavati Road)just south of Olifants and north of Satara.You can also access the S39 coming from Orpen on the H7.The camp can accommodate 16 people and you have to book the whole camp for 8 people and pay extra per head over 8.Its a wonderful camp and situated in a good game area.If you go with 8 each couple has their own chalet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms -luxury !
