I am surprised no one has started this topic yet.

So here goes:

How many species of birds have you seen in Kruger?

I broke through the 300 barrier this past weekend.

You beat me by about a hundred. BTW, I have introduced two friends to birding and they will now stop looking at boring sleeping lions to go and look for birds.

I have so many uncompleted lists in differant bird books, must go and count all the birds that have been seen. :lol:

Are these birds all that have been physically seen, or those not seen but heard too ?
I only count if I have seen it.

I have been to KNP only twice the last 33 years, once in Winter. Need to rectify that. My list is on 243. Got 201 on the winter trip in 2009 (with a 5&6 year old in the car). Was heaven on earth.
