I agree with stephan groen , as the crow flies 4.51km from the junction of the S21 with the H4-1 .
KNP is sacred. I am opposed to the modernisation of Kruger and from the depths of my soul long for the Kruger of yesteryear! 1000+km on foot in KNP incl 56 wild trails.200+ nights in the wildernessndloti-indigenous name for serval.

Even mites that that don't know how to navigate GE can get this one.

There was another loop very close to this one posted on this same thread a couple of years back... I'll leave it for a while and see if someone gets it.
Have you seen KNP from the SKY yet??

Looks like Matlarhi , about 5 km north east of the Napi loop on the H1-1 Napi road ?

I haven't been on the Napi trails Nlodti, so I won't question your pic... but according to my map that koppie should be Mlaleni and not Matlhari....

Am I right or wrong? :hmz:

Not sure of which one it is ... according to my map it is the latter , we accessed the area after a drive along a north orientated road which more or less corresponds with the road along the burn plot .

Yes, it is Mlaleni.

And your photo is indeed correct Ndloti, but it is not Matlhari.

Sat there watching some rhino ambling past, a large number of Impala and even a giraffe or ten.

Beautiful area!

The Andrew Tinker map I have is possibly inaccurate as far as topographical features are concerned - I must get a set of 1:50 000 maps of Kruger ...
