Nice photos indeed!

But it's all quite dark? Somber?

The photos at the start are quite dark and somber but the others aren't i don't think :)

I'm not quite sure what you mean they are quite dark?

Good compositions :thumbs_up:
Believe the aerial ones are bit dark, because they were shot through a window
Love the panoramic ones

Yeah i had to shoot them through the window, i couldn't open a window or anything, on my screen however they dont look that dark at all, maybe something has changed on my settings, will have a look

bud, I like the dark in you photo's. the car shots, not though. you need the light for car shots, in order to show of the cars entire shape, aswell nice composition. colour is vibrant, but not over powering. alround good shots...I know where you shot some of the Hyena pics:) we keep it as our secret!!! haha

I was lucky enough to see the female with no hair on her head and two of her cubs on the main road directly across from their den. I has within' a meter of them. I couldnt use my 300mm!!! have to use my macro 90mm

Hi Timbo

I briefly reviewed your site and note that you have some great pictures there. Some have raised the issue of some of them being "dark" and sombre and on this front, I would suggest that you try the following.... change the background of your blog from black to white (or at least a lighter colour) and see if that changes the perception of your work and the blog in general. I suspect that the dark background of the page creates the impression that your photos are dark, at least it does for me..... There is enough darkness in the world today... lighten it a bit :tongue:
