How is the view from the camp?

Micetta, the ellie was there one morning and we couldn't get out!

Vinkie, the camp is in the bush with plenty of it all around. Mooiplaas picnic-spot is next to the camp and has a view of the river.
That ellie loves Tsendze and we saw him in April 2011 around the camp as well!

We have camped at Skukuza and the Safari tents are in the camping area...they seem to be fine!

FRUITBAT, then you must let me know how the tents were after your stay in October!

I have noticed that one safari tent is very close to the ablutions and all campers are walking pass it on their way there...I would like to avoid that one!

Thanks TheunsH for the tip - I will contact the camp before we go to see if I can request one away from the ablutions. We normally stay in the bungalows but this time we couldn't get a bungalow so I chose a safari tent which should be fun.

TheunsH and FRUITBAT - we have stayed in a Safari Tent at Skukuza but a few years ago. I don't have any pics, but we really enjoyed it. It is, as TheunsH said, in the camping area. You have 2 single beds, a fan, your own fridge and a little porch with your own braai, table and chairs. The one we stayed in was actually on the perimeter with your porch looking out onto the bush. We had a hyena coming to patrol the fence in front of our tent every night - was awesome! Really a good choice of accomodation!

It was so long ago, unfortunately I can't remember the tent nr - but try and maybe ask for a tent on the perimeter - there are some!
