Correct@Black-Shouldered Kite. The shoulders are clearly visible. It is also the only other bird apart from Dickinson's Kestrel with pure white under parts and grey upper parts.

When I looked at the first pics I thought it looked like a BSK, but the colouration was wrong. I have never seen a juvenile, only this sub adult in Bontebok NP.

I love these birds! Since I've been birding - it is amazing how many of them are around me. Nearly on all the road I travel, I'll see at least one.
This one was taken in Kruger near,Mopanie 2008.

We were lucky to see a pair mating in Addo yesterday, but it was over before the camera was brought to bear, and the participants flew off!
