Even though I have not seen a lot of wildlife on this route the beautiful scenery will always bring me back. There is not a lot of roads like that in KNP.

Location: Busy planning my next trip
Im looking forward to this road in October when we are in Shingwedzi. The last time i travelled
this road was in 1986. I remember one occasion we were busy watching elephants when we suddenly realised we were surounded by the herd :big_eyes:

I posted earlier that if there were ellies at close quarters I would give it a miss........and then I realised that we had actually travelled this road in March!! :redface:

I can only reiterate what most of you are saying........it is stunning, and luckily for me, the day we travelled there were no ellies in sight. :dance: :dance:

We did however see a huge herd of buffs near Shingwedzi. :big_eyes:

hi rufie,
just got back from 15 nights in kruger travelled this road several times while staying at sirheni saw pride of lions with cubs lots of grumpy ellies and plenty of general game saw the lions 3 out of the 4 days we were there :lol: :lol: :dance: :dance:

That's nice Stu!

I've seen 2 Female lions with 2 cubs close to Baballala before. Also impala,elephants,steenbuck,sharpe graysbuck,buffalo,kudu,giraffe and vultures
