Hi there. I heard the genets visits some time, but unfortunately we didn't see them. It's a great bungalow, especially waking up in the morning from the bedroom upstairs, opening the big sliding glass doors and standing on the balcony, looking far far into the distance. Amazing

this number 13 is one big accommodation who can accommodate 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms. 2 Separate doors to exit on to the veranda/kitchen and a door inside (between the 2 bathrooms). It has a big kitchen/veranda as you can see. It's a lovely family cottage

Skukuza - Luxury Riverside Bungalows - LR2W

I believe there are about 8 of these bungalows (Nos 96 to 88) to the west of the cafe / restaurant. We stayed in no 90. Here are some pictures taken in March 2011

Bungalow No. 90

Nos. 96 - 93

In my opinion Nos. 96 to 90 all have good open views over the river, Nos. 88 - 89 also have good views but are more shady.

Hope these pctures help to give you an idea of the layout of the LR2W bungalows

Hi Higgsie

Wow, thanks for these pictures. I've never seen one of the 2 bed luxury bungalows before. They look just beautiful and the views are perfect. Looks like you had a relaxing stay there.

Thanks for sharing with us. I'm sure it will help people a lot if they had to choose one of those bungalows.

This is my favourite tent. Close to ablutions, good view, very private and the path is not too long.

Feel free to add some of your accommodation photos here

Well you got my LS one's already, don't have too many others as I always forget to take them :wall: ...will try and remember this year!

A couple of pics from Skukuza - we had #210 and 211 - both BD3 last August for a couple of nights - tucked away in a quiet cul de sac at the back of the camp. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of Skukuza, really only go there for Lake Panic, as it's too busy for me, but I did like the quiet location of these units and they certainly seemed to be a bit more modern than the BD3 we had the previous year in a much busier part of the camp.

Thanks SusieB

Those bungalows are absolutely much more quit than the other ones. I also loved them because the kids could play on the lawn in front of the bungalows.
