Hi there

We have been very lucky to see African Wild Cats on a few occasion in Kruger, especially around Satara - but my most memorable was on our way back to our camp site one evening. We were so fortunate to come across a Beaut walking along the dirt road - towards Bangu Dam.

We were the only car on the road and were thrilled to sit and watch her for over an hour playing in the grass along side the car, calling out for either her kittens or family??????, chase and mock hunt a large cricket etc

it was fabulous

got a few pics but even better video footage :cam:

cant wait to be back in the park in September.

Fantastic Muhammad
Also saw AWC in A circle in satara beginning of April
and two sightings of AWC close to satara on the H7. Satara area seems to be AWC central.

During our last visit to the KTP (June 2011) we saw this one trying to catch a lapwing. Unfortunately she was did not finish her hunt but turned away and ran into the long grass I just had enough time for a quick photo.
