I bought a Sanpsrks cluster couple card at Lower Sabie Rest Camp on 24 November 2010. The letter states "Please keep an eye on the mail, as you will shortly be receiving your brand new Wild Card."

Who can I approach as I cannot seem to access their website and the call centre tell me I will be getting it very soon.

Any advice will be appreciated.

P.S. I just love the WILD magazine. How many copies have I not received due to this delay?

I renewed my card in October and I haven't received anything either!

The first wildcards have been send last week.
I hope to find mine in the post every day, but no dice yet.

I'm going to Kruger in May. What iff my new card doesn't arrive in time

As far as I know you can still use your confirmation form then FC, but you might check that with Joep Stevens before you fly.

Yes, indeed, the first Wild Cards have been sent out but there are many that still have to receive theirs. Until you have received your (new) Wild Card, you can use Wild Card number if purchased from SANParks (not Infinity) after 12 November 2010 and for old Infinity Wild Card members present this old Infinity Wild Card with letter of confirmation with the normal means of identification when visiting relevant parks, should membership still be valid, of course. The most important matter is that we have your complete and updated personal and contact information (which in many cases is still lacking, thus the slow issuing of Wild Cards). If you wish to confirm that we have all your details, you are welcome to send me your Wild Card number to joeps@sanparks.org

@Joep - Can you perhaps clarify the following too ?

As already mentioned , I renewed my wildcard last year August effective September , and you confirmed that such renewals are still valid at Sanparks .

I have now received an e.mail/newsletter from Infinity which states that my Wildcard and cash-back rewards ( over R900 ) have been suspended as per the following

Yes, the agreement with Infinity is non-existant. However, as we do not have clean data for all members, we have not been able to issue replacement Wild Cards as quickly as we would have liked to. Thus the arrangement that old Infinity issued Wild Cards can still be used to assist in proving Wild membership. Ultimately the Wild Card number with identification would also suffice. The confirmation letter was brought in to make it easier too. Concerning CashBack, this must be enquired from Infinity to establish waht the options are how to transfer or redeem CashBack balances. Keep in mind that SANParks ceased the issuing of CasBack as from effective termination with Infinity on 12 October 2010.

Shocking service.
It is now more than 3 months an still no card.
Went to one of the KZN National parks and they would not accept the letter of confirmation of payment.

Within the next two weeks I intend to visit Kruger, Hlane in Swaziland and Umfolozi in KZN. If they will not accept the letter will Nat. Parks Wildcard refund me for the entry fees I'll have to pay.

Have contacted Wildcard on a number of occasions, each time the answer is the same, 'The card will soon be posted.'

This is not good enough. The change from Infinity was NOT a good move.
