Giraffe are thought to have a lighter coloration there (due to the heat :shock: )

At West Coast Nat Park the Educational sentrum is in an old Cape Dutch Farm house at Geelbek dating 1860. :hmz:

Yes, Son Godin, the restaurant and educational centre are in the old farmhouse, Geelbek, but I cannot confirm if the headquarters are also located therein (I've never been there and there is nothing on the Net). Could someone perhaps assist here? Until then, I will keep the question open a little while ...

OWN,

The last time I've visited the park was in 2002/3 when the Park office was in Langebaan. I thought they might have moved to Geelbek, but can be wrong and that it is only the Educational Office. I just thought it's a very old farm house and took a guess.
