Dakka, hope this is not the only picture you're going to show us!!!

Shingwedzi...was happily feeding on a buff the next morning with eye much better.

I’m pretty excited – just bought myself a Canon 300mm lens for next week’s trip to KNP, and to top it all, a friend is letting me use his 600mm Minolta lens with 1.4 converter and Sony body! Hope I won’t be shaking too much and spoil all the photos!
With my luck all the game is going to be in the road next to the car ha!ha!
Can't wait to test all the goodies. Any tips on using the big lens will be appreciated. Oh yes, I will have a bean bag and monopod.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II owners:

This firmware update (Version 2.0.8 ) incorporates the following changes and fixes.

* Fixes a phenomenon in which movies are not taken at the shooting mode registered in the user's settings if a shooting mode Aperture priority (or Shutter priority) is registered in any of the camera's user settings (C1, C2, C3) and the user attempts to shoot a movie.
* Fixes a phenomenon in which the shutter will not release when pressing the shutter button when the auto power off function is set to "on".
* Fixes a phenomenon in which overexposure occurs when shooting a Live View shooting simulation with the ISO speed set to L.
* Fixes a phenomenon in which the settings of the Speedlite transmitter ST-E2 revert to the default settings when both the camera and the ST-E2 are set to auto power off.
* Fixes a phenomenon in which the Macro Ring Lite (MR-14EX, MT-24EX) and slave flash do not sync while shooting wirelessly.

The Version 2.0.8 firmware being released this time is for cameras with firmware up to Version 2.0.7. If the camera's firmware is already Version 2.0.8, it is not necessary to update the firmware.

Hi to everybody

This is my first post in the phtography forum because I am no way a good photographer and have no aspirations more than try to do my best with the kind of camera that I have, BUT I need a little help if possible.... I have an awful photo of an african wildcat taken last month in KTP in the evening at the Urikaruus waterhole. It was too dark and too far away for my x20 zoom, but I would love to be able to see that it is a AWC Is there anything that some clever guy with photoshop or other can do, please?
