Lets see ...

The Southern most, naturally occurring, baobab in Kruger National Park is part of a group of peculiar baobabs.

They are known for two distinguishing factors, putting the apart of other baobabs in Kruger. One is a physical attribute, the other is not.

Name these two factors.

LQ -  I always sulk. It is the extend of sulking that differs from time to time.

Found this great link here on the Forum:

According to the Kruger Park Times: As a matter of interest, the lone baobab just south of Satara Camp in the Kruger National Park marks the southerly extent of natural distribution of baobabs in Africa.

My answer is:

Genetic and Morphometric Diversity

Can we see the difference here?

I think growth form variations are mostly result of the age, but there are as well patterns of genetic diversity and three morphological features, i.e. height and diameter of the tree, number of branches and so on.

Wild guess: the southern belt trees have more branches.

Good try ... but no.

The first factor is embedded in the question itself. Just describe it a bit more. Some nice interesting trivial information.

:hmz: Time for tips ...

The first factor has to do with the fact that this is the Southern most naturally occurring baobab in KNP. It is not alone but ...

The second factor has something to do with its fruit which makes it different.
