I went looking for the elusive Cape Rock Jumpers and was lucky to find 4 of them in Rooi Els. Two adults and two young ones. The adults we darting off the whole time looking for take aways while the youngsters followed behind.

Here is a shot of a juvenile Black Shouldered Kite just as it took off with its kill. It allowed me quite a few shots while on the perch, but I knew it was about to take off so I had to be ready. In hindsight I should have increased my depth of field to get the wings in focus as well. I am nevertheless quite chuffed with the capture.
