Can anyone help me with the steps (shortist) to uploading with photobucket/Imageshack?

1. PHOTOBUCKET - I can upload, but to upload a 2nd picture - I cannot find the UPLOAD button and have to reload photobucket?

Imageshack uploads, but then I cannot find the correct code to copy to the forums?

I would appreciate any help Thanks

Good morning JJ!

Photobucket is the more inconvinient uploader of the both. You have to go back to your albums to be able to see the upload button again. I created an album for the webcams and have to go back to that (read: click on that album) to get the upload button.

For imageshack it's the 'Forum Code' link.

I'm discovering that I am becoming bit of a creature of habit... I'm finding this change to imageshack quite difficult!

Still - as much as Tinypic was awesome, there just seems to be too many hassles with it for me.

My, my.... I also rather like using Tinypic but as Mel said, it seems to be the end of that line so I guess I'll have to educate myself as well.

I just wonder why Tinypic is working again Well, I upload my pics now on photobucket, just to be sure they will be there tomorrow.
To upload all pics stored at Tinypic it will take such a long time and it will be very difficult to replace all pics on the Webcam threads.

I don't even want to think about how many pics will be lost on this website.....

AND on top of it, they're most inconvenient as well. Only good for bulk uploading
(and I dread the day when they actuall do the same as tinypic, as I got my TR pics on there...)

Tinypics has worked wonderfully for me! I don't want to change... But I guess if I have to....

At least I know where to go for advice on Photobucket - Bishop, what are your choices, if you aren't going with them?

I use Flickr, I LOVE it!!!....and it is my off site storage of important pics as well....

I pay for a PRO account..about $20US per year..not too bad...

I use Flickr for my personal photos and it is fantastic. You can get a free account but there is a limit to how many pictures you can upload a month (it's still heaps - but over a month I think cam-pics would push this limit). As CC says - it's cheap as to purchase an unlimited account.

It's perhaps a tad slower than what tinypic was to upload - but far more reliable (I've never seen a questionable picture or advert on Flickr).

If you have a googlemail or Gmail account, you can use the Picasa online web-albums. For free. In addition if you download their free software, you can set it up so that the photos you specify (or all photos in a specific album) will be automatically sync'd and uploaded to your online album.

In order to post to the foums, click on the picture you want (online); right click, choose, 'copy image URL'. Go to the forums, click on the image tab, press Ctrl+V and there you have it.

Hope that helps! It will do bulk uploads if you have the original file somewhere on your computer; but you'll have to co and change the image URL for each picture on the forums...

I'm too blonde to handle Picasa or flickr - and Imageshack seems to get slower by the minute...

Tinypic seemed more user friendly above Imageshack.

H.E. did you get the 'impossible to determine the dimensions of your pictures'?

If so, it seems to be a forum thing as it happened to others as well and they use all sorts of pic hosts by now.
