Just finished a nice meal with the rest of the team and let me tell you they are even worse in real life than on Forum

Met Owl and what a pleasant guy except his comment about Cape Town

All off to bed we have a 2am wake-up call

At 11:45 yesterday with our count on 138 our team's effort came to a halt due to unforseen problems. Ask JB or Johann to explain. Our end total only 167. We're off to Letaba today. Enjoyed the time with fellow forummers even though their YR was nowhere to be seen! Leaving Mopani now. Ask JB about the LIT x2.

Saw 3 groups of Ground Hornbill. Very few people in Letaba. The pool is great on this hot day!

S100 report, 14:30 - 17:00.

Took S100 to Gudzani dam & back. Masses of impies, huge mixed herds of zebs & wildebeest, giraffes galore, ellies, kudu, waterbuck, baboons, vervets.

Oh yes. Large bull ellie blocking road 1.5km from Nsanane. Left tusk nearly touching ground, no right tusk, hole bigger the R5 coin bottom of left ear. Maybe someone can give us his name?

WTM what did you say when I said we'll be doing the S100 again? Was it Voertsek?

Must be this one.
I'm still not sure if it is Shimatsi though. Marks on the trunk look different. The 2 photos I have seen of Shimatsi don't show the holes in the left ear, but on the other hand both he and the bull in Acekam's pics have a similar round notch in left ear ("SE" of the biggest hole).

Why no particular order?

What a great report Cois, can't wait for the rest... especially day 2 (with photos)

Was GREAT meeting you and M as well, and we really enjoyed your company! Was great to have M with to help keep you guys in tact!
(also it helps a lot when you go through an ordeal like us, to share it with such fun people 8)
Was just a bit too short... but next year we'll be having MUCH more fun (and ticks)

{If you think he is witty here you should meet him in real life} 8)
