Just wondering if the same applies to humans; re giggles decrease in pitch with age and range of notes (words) increasing with age??
May be true, except for an ex-friend's SO, who would snort and giggle frenetically in the lowest barotone pitch you could imagine when she was 20.

Just maybe they begin to cry when they see
us lot arrive.

Which is why they cackle in dismay and whoop in disgust, maybe?

You know come to think of it, taking into account this forum,
pages and pages of info about man and animals. There is one
aspect that is quite clear to me, we as humans do not paint
a very pretty picture of ourselves, but the animals do without
trying very hard.
