Specs:
Optical Design - refractor
Aperture - 70mm
Focal length / ratio - 900mm / f/13
Std. field view - 1.1deg.
Highest magnification - 165x
Light gathering - 100x
Stellar magnitude - 11.7
Finder scope - Star point

What is your flavour(brand), class, what stage(beginner, intermediate, pro) and the specs ?

Seeing that nobody else added their kit, I'll add mine.

I don't have a scope, but I already have Pro Canon lenses, so I use that for my Astro Viewing and Astro Photography

Canon 300mm f2.8
Canon 1.4X Extender
Canon 2X Extender
Canon Anglefinder (2.5X magnification)
Canon 5D Mk II (For the Photography part)

With all the lenses attached to each other I get:
840mm (2100mm with the angle finder at Max magnification)
f/8.0

Not to sure what the light loss is with the angle finder at 2.5X magnification if any.

Now if the human eye sees at 50mm, then at 2100mm, I guess I'm getting 42X magnification

For the rest I have 21 Million pixels to crop the hec out of to see closer
