My guess is a Skaapsteker (Psammophylax rhombeatus)

MacAdder, you don't have to be so modest! It IS a Skaapsteker without a doubt!
The other one a legless skink or a Schlegel's?

Looks like an adult mole snake (Pseudaspis cana) going about his/her business

Nice snaps :D Looks a bit more like a young molesnake and not a black spitting cobra to me..... Not up in KTP but molesnakes also known as Majola in some parts of the country. Subject to correction but I am pretty sure one is forbidden from killing one and its very bad luck if one does. Named after one of the main Xhosa clans :D

Can anyone assist in the identification of the snake this Dark Chanting Goshawk made a meal of, please?

Thanks anne-marie. :D

I think it is a Striped Skaapsteker Psammophylax tritaeniatus

But I just want someone with more knowledge on snakes than me to confirm this.

I found this snake on the Old Main Road Loop (Mopani area).

I think it is a Mozambique spitting cobra. Is that correct? Thank you very much for your help.

Impisi,
I'm no expert but I agree with your ID: Mozambique Spitting cobra.
Beautiful photos! What equipment did you use?
