Thanks! That one is quite clear.

Yours is rather difficult, but I must admit that, save for some human object, I cannot think of any other possibilities.

Its a pity that no other photo is available.

hello everyone,

we found the following two snakes in the northern KTP in July 08.

The first one we saw near the unions end pick nick site and was about 1,5 to 2 m long and roughly 4 fingers thick :

The second one we saw a bit more south near the Grootkolk turnoff and was about 1 m long and rougly 2 to 3 fingers thick :

We're guessing they might be mole snakes but seeing we don't know much about snakes at all we were wondering if someone could please confirm this or pass along the correct name?

Thanks.

hi Batmad,

I must say I'm enjoying the forums.

I used them in the past already to do some planning and research and now since I started posting recently I found people around to be very friendly and also very helpful in providing information.

Regards,
Tom

Hello, I spotted this snake crossing the road in southern Kruger during June 2007:

Click through for larger versions on Flickr.

I looked through some photos, but haven't found a good match. Would you help, please?

Alan, this only opens smaller thumbnails for me, impossible to even guess from these tiny images. Can you perhaps post larger ones?
