 Post subject: Insect: Giant Cockroach

Hi all

Wondered if any experts out there could cast any light on these beyond that:

3 any ideas? photographed West Coast NP last week.

Re: third photo...looks like a Table Mountain Cockroach (Aptera fusca), common name Giant Cockroach. My source says females are 30-40mm, and males 29mm and the females are wingless, so looks to be a female. Widespread on low vegetation in open areas in fynbos biome. The other species in this genus is rare, being recorded from Richtersveld.

My second guess would be a Bantua species. Maybe you can research these 2 options.
