Yes, those ones will need to wait unfortunately - its a tight line to get all the aspects right, I need to ensure 100% that the current change is working for all then move onto the next item.

Everything looks just great, SteVen :gflower: And as another cranky old cat person (only I travel too much these days to have my own :( ), your kitties are gorgeous

Hey arks, no problem :)

Now you owe ME a chocolate ;)

I thoroughly scan for new topics allmost daily and have noticed a few threads "popping up out of nowhere" I surely would have noticed which did not display previously - i.e. the crossword quizz which has been in existence since 18 Jan 2012 .
I cannot understand that I had not noticed this - can it be that there is a problem with pc settings , or is there a quarantine period before they are displayed , perhaps .?

Hi ndloti,

It seems to be a small gremlin in the works, another moderator and I noticed it the same day.

I am investigating the possible cause of this and hope to resolve it, but due to the fact its not a constant thing, I am not sure we will visibly notice the fix.

Hi all,

Quick Update:

1. Old posts showing as new - I have optimised our data storage and that should sort the problem out, if you still experience this issue. Please let me know here or on pm.
2. Pagination - There were two areas where pagination was running over the edge of the forum borders, these have been corrected.
3. Footer styling - I have corrected this, especially noticeable if you do searches on the forum.

As always, if there is anything else, please don't hesitate to let myself or the moderators know.

One thing that has been irritating for a while - clicking on an embedded link does not activate a new window or tab, even if my browser is set set up to do it, it just takes me straight to that page. Which means I get taken away from the forum/website. Can anything be done about it?

Hi Saraf,

If a forumite pastes a link, we cant control it - if it is an internal link - it should be opened in a new window.

However I will look at both

I would like to know why it states at the bottom "you do not have the required permission to read topics within this forum"???? From whom do I need the permission???

You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum.

This problem still exists I also do not have permission :hmz:

I was not able to highlight the line as the scroll bar keeps running up, posts this size are impossible to edit
