I’m looking to get myself a good 220v/12v freezer about 40 to 60 liter.
Please any advice will be appreciated.
If possible I don’t want to pay a arm and leg for it.

Location: Johannesburg - too far from the closest Sanpark
Two weeks ago I bought a Waeco Combicool 40l absorption (3-way) cooler. Got a good price cos it was a display unit and has been discontinued (got a 6 month warranty). Haven't tested it properly, but used it last night at home on 220v and was very happy with it.

We are very happy with our Engel -- and it can run either as a fridge or freezer.

We also have a WAECO, it separate fridge and freezer compartments, would reommend it.

We have an eskimo camping freezer and it works extremely well. freezers for camping are quite expensive but if you shop around you should find one for a reasonable price, and like joshielewis did look for end of the range stock :thumbs_up:

I lucked out big time. Happened to walk into the shop looking for something else and they happened to have this unit sitting prominently with the price quite big.

I'd also look seriously at buying second hand

We eventually got our self’s a 40l engel.
Expensive but i think money well spend.
