Heksie, it depends how dark it is. A torch is less effective on a moonlit night as ones eyes are used to the brighter ambient light. (but then on a good moonlit night you dont need a torch) For most hides I would say that 200 will be fine. I also have a 120 lumen torch that has green LED's, nice for spotting as it does not seem to bug the animals.
