Hi all, I need some advice...

I'm thinking of visiting Kruger next year during the June/July holidays for two weeks. With regards to the planning I need some help. For this trip we will be camping.
I would like to stay at Berg-en-Dal for 3 nights. I've never stayed in this camp, but from what I've seen one can hardly be disappointed. From here I was thinking of staying at Balule for 4 nights. Now, my question: Can one go on a morning walk via Olifants when staying at Balule?

Another thing, can we do a bush-braai at Olifants also staying at Balule? I'm not even sure if bush-braais are still done in Kruger...

For the second week of the trip I was wondering if we could go to the GLTP via Giriyondo. Is the Limpopo National Park just as magical as Kruger? Does one get the same African-bush-experience with regards to game viewing there? Do someone perhaps know what the camping fees are and if there are conservation fees to be paid here? Unfortunately I couldn't get much info on the web regarding these questions.

I'm not even sure if GLTP is worth the trouble. Should I go or rather stay the entire 2 weeks in Kruger?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Vols

Berg en Dal is a lovely camp - we have had 4 leopard sightings in the area, one from the camp over the dam. We have also had lion and wild dog sightings along the main road and the tar road leading to the camp and on the mountain loop.

Balule is a satellite camp of Olifants so you just need to request drives or walks and they will pick you up. Don't know what you mean about 'bush braais'? I don't think they do these anymore as I have not heard any mention of them and we are regular Kruger visitors.

My opinion - stay 2 weeks in Kruger - there is so much to see!!

Dotty has done one during her march trip, but I do not know where from.
You should ask her.
